NOTES ON THE QUIRE
It was always my intention that the Quire from Collected Works would turn out to be Benny and Jason’s descendants. You don’t come up with a name like ‘Fallowsolstice’ by accident. Still, I’m mildly surprised that Simon Guerrier let me say so outright – although he may feel that Benny’s obvious bias towards believing in her future children gives it some deniability.
(You all noticed that Jason’s frozen sperm was left unaccounted for at the end of the novella, did you? Good...)
